  • October 7, 2021, 7pm | University of Iowa Newman Center | Transforming Lives Around the World: The CRS Story: Have you ever considered how you can advocate for those in need and impact the global common good? Hear the story of Deacon Don Weigel in his talk “Transforming Lives Around the World: The CRS Story” on Thursday, October 7 at 7pm. As a Catholic Relief Services Global Fellow, he will share about his passion for the world’s poor, how he was called to action, and what role you can play in the CRS Story. Come learn about disaster relief, ongoing projects in developing countries, and political advocacy. This event will take place at the Newman Catholic Student Center in Iowa City and will be livestreamed on the Iowa Catholic YouTube Channel.
