CRS Student Ambassador Training: Minnesota Overnight

CRS Student Ambassador Training: Minnesota Overnight

Saturday, October 3, 2015 - 11:00am to Sunday, October 4, 2015 - 2:00pm

Overview

Each Fall, CRS University offers Regional Trainings for students and accompanying staff to equip them to start, deepen, and grow their CRS Student Ambassador chapter on campus. This August through October CRS will offer ten regional trainings across the country and would like to invite a small group of students plus a staff advisor to attend.

Regional trainings will be facilitated by CRS staff and veteran Ambassadors and Advisors. They will include opportunities for community building; sharing passion for global solidarity; learning about the story, mission and work of CRS; and kicking off the year-long CRS University advocacy campaign focused on climate change in response to Pope Francis' recent encyclical.

Logistics

Trainings vary in length of time, and the registration form will provide you with additional logistical details for your particular training.  CRS Staff will also follow up with you via email closer to the training date to check in about details and additional information.

When trainings are overnight, lodging accommodations are included at no cost to participants.  Meals that fall during training times are also included.  Transportation needs to be arranged by campuses/participants.  Cost details vary by training, but most often, CRS asks participants to pay for their own transportation, with some exceptions (*West Coast training will have a cost share due to the large number of participants flying).  Please ask if you have questions about transportation costs.
