Manhattan College

Inspired by former Dean William Merriam’s challenge to students to respond to Pope Francis’ plea to support Syrian refugees, the Manhattan College honor society Kappa Delta Pi opened their hearts and raised $4,000 for Syrian Refugees. In addition to Dean Merriam’s promise to match the funds raised, current President Brennan O’Donnell kindly contributed a personal check of $1,000, bringing the total donation to $5,000.
