Apply for 2017-2018 ACCU/CRS Global Solidarity Grant

Want to start collaborating with the CRS Student Ambassador program on campus but lack the funding to kick off something new?

Have a great programming idea to strengthen your CRS Student Ambassador efforts but no money to make it happen?

Love being a CRS Global Campus and want to have an even bigger impact but do not have the funds to match?

Here is your chance to transform your great idea into a reality!

Catholic Relief Services University Engagement and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) are now accepting applications for our joint Global Solidarity Grants.  The program offers small grants of up to $3,000 to ACCU member institutions (Catholic colleges & universities) to advance Catholic mission through global solidarity by developing creative projects or enhancing existing structures. Appropriate projects will draw on the programs and resources of CRS University Engagement. Projects must involve students in a significant way but must have a faculty or staff sponsor. As in past years, two types of grants are being awarded in 2017: CRS Student Ambassadors grants and CRS Global Campus grants.  Learn more and find application instructions here.

Grant applications are due Friday, December 1, 2017.

Application components include:

  • Cover Sheet
  • Narrative
  • Budget

Please note that priority will be given in the application process to institutions who have not previously received a CRS/ACCU grant in the past.  Notifications to grant winners will be sent in January 2018.  Final project reports must be submitted to ACCU by May 31, 2018.
